Method

How it comes together

    Rinse rice until water runs clear. Cook with water. When done, fold in vinegar mixture. Cool.

    Lay nori shiny side down on a bamboo mat. Spread thin rice layer, leaving 2 cm strip at top.

    Line avocado, carrot, cucumber across the bottom third.

  4. 4

    Roll tightly using the mat. Seal edge with water. Slice with a wet sharp knife.

  5. 5

    Serve with soy sauce, sesame, and pickled ginger.
